This year, we have teamed up with A21 to bring awareness to human trafficking. We are doing photo shoots for freedom!

We have been using our human canvas paint portrait project to bring awareness. We are looking to raise money for their non-profit.

Here is our first photo shoot that we put together with California Thor (@California_Thor). Check out his profile on Instagram!

The shoot was intense. There were moments during the shoot while he was bound. During one of the shots, you could see that California Thor had gotten emotional. At that moment, he said that he knew that there was someone in his exact position out there and it hurt.

Human trafficking is slavery.

It’s the illegal trade of human beings. It’s the recruitment, control, and use of people for their bodies and for their labor. Through force, fraud, and coercion, people everywhere are being bought and sold against their will–right now in the 21st century.

But phrases like ‘slavery’ and ‘human trafficking’ can still feel ambiguous. This is the reality: slavery is violence. It’s physical, verbal, and sexual abuse. It’s forced prostitution. It’s barbaric working conditions.

Slavery is more stoppable than ever, and that’s why we’re here, rallying around the world and doing the work together.
