Christmas photo shoots are always fun and we love being able to create these Christmas memories with people and create different Christmas cards for people. You should book early in order to get all your cards for the season.
When you book your photographer, you will want to have some good ideas of where to do your photo shoot. San Diego is awesome for shoots and there are a number of different looks that you can get and here are some very popular areas that photographers like to shoot at.
Balboa Park
This is popular for the architecture, but very difficult to do a shoot on the weekends. Photographers that shoot in that area often will know of some locations that will be less populated on the weekends, but it still is difficult to get parking around that time also. If you are able to do a shoot on a weekday, it would be much easier to make it happen.
Old Poway Park
The last time we were out there it looked like they were doing a lot of work on the trees and shrubbery in the area. Old Poway Park is awesome for the train tracks and for the green areas that people can shoot at.
The Beach
We are in San Diego and it is always easy to get to the beach. It might seem like everyone else is doing a beach photo shoot, but why not! It is beautiful and I can't get enough of it! Since the weather will be getting a little colder and the sun will be going down sooner, you should be able to get a pretty empty beach to shoot at.
Marian Bear Park
If you are looking for the green forest look, then you can head out to Marian Bear Park to get that lush look. Just beware that some areas may not be accessible after a rain.
CHRISTMAS TREE PARK
If you want to get that Christmas tree look, then head over to a Christmas Tree lot and ask them if you can shoot there. There are some great images that you can create there.
